Chaps, very sorry but not sure I'm going to make it out tomorrow now to lead the ride. Seem to have tweaked something in my foot such that it's all swollen and I've been hobbling around at home for two days. Hopefully getting better (really hoping it's not something serious like a stress fracture but getting it checked out all the same) - but clearly trying to rest it and not risk anything this side of getting out to Mallorca.

The route I was thinking of is as below - Box Hill timed climb in the middle, then the back way through Dorking and up Ranmore Road before heading back through Effingham, Cobham etc. Feel free to use it or not as you see fit, and see most of you at the airport next week I hope!

Cheers
Nik

Really sorry to hear that Nik - get well soon. I am going out and happy to do your route (with or without the PB attempt on Box Hill).

Nik,
Have a good rest, do not risk it. To fully recover my knee from last year 4Bs took me over 6 weeks.
Davided has managed to get the Garmin working, it is only fair that he "properly" leads this time. I will ask him

I am assuming 7 am, right?

See you tomorrow, chaps

Yes, rest up Nik.

I'm sure Chris will pack his nurse's outfit for next weekend...

Just had this note
Small thing that might make a big difference: Jean’s cafe was burgled recently and I know it’s had a big impact on them. Would be good to have coffees there
It's a local Berrylands cafe so I think we should go and support them tomorrow.

Thanks

Mark
