Club AGM and Christmas Social

Post by MarkG » Sun Sep 04, 2016 10:26 am

Saturday 3rd December - PUT IT IN YOUR DIARY

Hi All,

The club AGM and Christmas Social will take place on Saturday 3rd December from 7.30pm. Venue to be decided but probably the Royal Oak. Everyone thought it would be a good idea to open it up to other halves seeing as they all know each other and have to put up with a lot from us (some more so than others!).

There is no official business to take care of except to pay your £10 membership fee to Barry who will put it in his bank account and maintain the financial records on a bulldog clip above the fridge in the traditional way. There will be a form to sign as a member as there was this time last year. No action required in advance.

We don't have any officers of the club really (unless anyone has a desperate desire to be treasurer or to run the website) so that is the AGM done with and we can enjoy the social side which is what we are good at!

Thanks

Mark

Hello Everyone,

After a detailed research session at the proposed venue last night we are now able to confirm that the Club AGM and Christmas Social will be at the Royal Oak at 8:00PM on December 3rd. For those that don’t know it, the address is 261 Ewell Road, Surbiton, KT6 7AA. \we will probably have the bit at the back on the right hand side reserved for us (as we did after the 4Bs ride). Other halves are very welcome. We haven’t organised any food but there is a decent menu for those that want to eat.

As mentioned in previous emails there is no formal business apart from paying Barry £10 for your annual membership (£5 for country members). Barry was talking about getting people to pay by bank transfer rather than cash so don’t be surprised if there is another email from him with the details.

No real need to know who is coming but we told the landlord to expect about 40 or so.

Look forward to seeing you all on the 3rd.

Thanks

Mark

PS - Have sent this as an email as well.
