We have made the decision to move over to a more modern way of communicating using Discord. As a result, all of the forums have now been made read-only. Please click on this link https://discord.gg/XYJgnUs to open Discord in a browser. Mobile and desktop apps are also available which are really easy to use. These can be downloaded from the App stores.

We won't be sending out invites to the new server as it shouldn't be necessary. Just follow the link and create yourself as a user. Please use a name that will help us to recognise you. Nicknames are fine if that is one we all know but just initials are not ideal as that doesn't help.

Any problems let Dave B or Mark G know and we will try and sort it out.

We are now working on a new website which should be ready over the next couple of months.

Hope you enjoy the more collaborative approach. This should mean we need less WhatsApp Groups

2014 - Ride Calendar

Post by MarkG » Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:45 am

Hi All

Following Barry's email I have created a ride calendar for 2014. I have put my name for next week to get the ball rolling but we need volunteers for the following weeks. It has worked much better in the past if we know in advance who is doing each week - it adds some certainty!

Please volunteer to lead a ride. We are only a small club and it makes it so much better if we all take it in turns.

Thanks

Mark

PS The weather will improve soon!!!!! (Fingers crossed).

Mark,

will check diary and let you know when good for me to organise/lead ride. Couple of Sportives coming up, so likely to be early April for me. As a thought, perhaps we can input the proposed ride (route, terrain and approx. distance) where the Standard Saturday Ride is noted.

Mike - kind you offer is but I am slightly worried about your bacon "something" offer. Not sure if it is a typo or you have been spending too much time in Brighton? D

Thank you to all volunteers so far. We are now booked with rides organised until the 8th March.

Those of you reviewing diaries let me know ASAP and I will update further. I think 1 ride every 6 weeks is more than enough.

Paul - easy enough for me to update the schedule with terrain etc but much harder for me to let you do it - let me think about how I can achieve that.

Thanks

Mark

Mark

I would be happy to lead a ride out on either the 15th or the 22nd March...if leading from the back is acceptable, that is!!

Cheers, MarkF

I am a master at leading from the back.

Your name is down.
