If you organised a ride, or agreed to write a report on it please take a few moments to write a brief (or long) report,

We can then take our time to correct your memory of events and correct your grammar.

Only 7 degrees early this morning at 7am and it felt pretty chilly after a few days this week of 15 degrees + but Tim was man enough to turn up in shorts and fingerless gloves (although he did whine a bit about being cold tbh).
8 of us set off on a route which took in Cobham, Ockham, Hungry Hill and past the prison, up Shaggers, down Coombe, up and over Newlands, Clandon, Byfleet and a coffee stop in Weybridge at a new venue, French Fancy's Tea Salon, who had taken a group photo and posted it on Instagram and followed our club account before we were even halfway through devouring their amazingly decent carrot cakes and warm cinnamon buns.
A brisk ride back (conveniently past my house where I bailed out) and via Hampton Court saw a total distance for those starting and finishing in Surbiton of approx 45 miles.
Some good group riding, some not quite so good group riding, too many angry drivers giving us aggro on the Portsmouth Road, good coffee, no mechanicals, the onset of winter and the joy of mutli-layered cycle outings, slightly sore fingertips, and a good group spirit. A most enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning.
