Re: Saturday 3rd August

First club ride for a while due to my Mother’s continued and still ongoing health problems and the small matter of cycling halfway across Europe last month, very good to catch up. Decent ride with a few bursts of quick and excellent group riding, despite there being only 3 of us. Thanks for coffee a...

Day 1, London-La Palma, July 4th

Not sure if I have mentioned to anyone that we (Davide, Ken and I) have a big (bordering on completely ridiculous) trip planned for July? Thursday 4th July is Day 1 and all we need to do is get ourselves down to Portsmouth in time for a 20:00hrs ferry crossing to St. Malo. The plan is to meet at my ...

Re: 7Bs - 18th / 19th May

Not sure how useful this is and I have no time to sort anything in more detail but here is the full Strava route to Brighton and back from 2015: https://www.strava.com/activities/984261622 And for Fran, Stu, Davide, Ken, here is the route from West Wittering to home, ie, part 3 of our proposed route...

Re: 7Bs - 18th / 19th May

So the London-LaPalma team, ie, myself Ken and Davide, will be joining in the Berrylands to Brighton route and group breakfast, and then heading to West Wittering for a carb loaded lunch provided by Vicky and my in-laws before heading home. Fran and Stu are also joining us for the day. Unfortunately...

Sat 13th April

After stressing a 6.55am meet and a 7am rollout I found myself oversleeping slightly and was the last to arrive in Hollyfield Road. Six of us set off in dry but very cold conditions, only 2 degrees, and met up with Robin as arranged in Cobham. Our route took us along Plough Lane, past the prison to ...
