Re: Saturday 15th June

Agree, Mike was the star of the day.
For a different reason, also Gareth, he almost crashed onto someone in front when some sporty lady showed on his left hand side.
Thanks again for the lovely breakfast.

Re: Monday June 10th

Mark, It sounds good to me, my only handicap is to be back at 3pm to collect the boys from school, by other hand we could leave at 9 am ish giving us a good 6 hours. In any case, I can always peel off if you want to stay longer. I will recofirm on Sunday evening if weather looks decent and not too t...

Saturday 8th June 2019

This weekend I will be "leading" in the Peak district for the small BCC group. Our initial weeekend was the 15th-16th however it has been a swap for a week earlier. I am afraid my "Etapa 1" has to be postpone.

Happy for anyone to take up the baton.

Re: Saturday 1st June 2019

Thanks for hot chocolate. Not a great fun of riding in pairs, high speed on a rather "not-very-smooth" tarmat, I personally prefer going in the back. Des has found the perfect excuse to buy a the new BCC kit. "the sensible ones of us who love our families went home." Guilty as charged, I am a bad hu...

Re: 25th may

On my defence I was following Mark's wheel, he was the real instigator.

In the end it looks like every Tom and Jerry got a PB.
Lovely breakfast.

Re: Day 1, London-La Palma, July 4th

Good Lord, those 10 days looks like pure torture (except day 1). I should be able to get there around 9:30ish after doing the school run. Planning to do the return on the bike as well. If rain I stay put. I have noticed, from Sort to Valencia is anything but flat. From Valencia there is a direct tra...

Re: Brighton Ride 17th MAY

252 Km on my clock (Strava let me down), home around 6:30pm ish. Everything went rather smoothly until Davide faced the first climb in South Downs National Park. The poor soul kept going (and swearing in Spanish) until Tolworth. Fantastic to go through new roads at good pace and mostly in line, alth...
